Holofiber making Worldwide Headlines
From The New York Times and International
Herald Tribune to Nationally Syndicated Radio
Momentum for Holofiber in the media is building in a big way.
Among the coverage of Holofiber was an article in a recent Monday
Business section of The New York Times covering
the marketing of Holofiber. Millions of readers learned about
Holofiber in an article by reporter Claudia Deutsch, who noted,
"It sounds almost too good to be true: relieve aches and
pains with a simple sock or glove." The half-page article
featured a photo of Holofiber Enterprises chairman, CEO and
product co-developer Robert Klein surrounded by Holofiber garments.
The article was also highlighted on the front page of the business
section with a color close-up of the Holofiber hangtag.
The International Herald Tribune featured the New York Times
article the following day, reaching readers in 180 countries
around the world.
Health Talk with Dr. Ronald Hoffman, a popular
nationally syndicated radio program heard in over 150 markets
and whose flagship station is New York’s WOR 710 AM, featured
Holofiber on a recent program. Dr. Hoffman, a medical doctor
who sampled Holofiber glove liners from Wickers, noted that
he has Reynaud’s Syndrome, causing his fingertips to become
white and painful. After wearing the glove liners while jogging,
"an interesting thing happened... I had a sense of warmth
and good circulation to my hands during the entire run. My hands
didn't feel hot, they didn't feel cramps, and I had a sense
of improved proprioception, almost like I had better sensation
in my fingertips during the run…this appears to be the
fiber of the future."

Additional media coverage includes WWD, which
noted that Holofiber is being targeted at both the activewear
and medical markets. The New York Resident,
a weekly newspaper in New York City seen by more than 120,000
readers, featured an article by Ellen Scordato that asked, "What
does (Holofiber) mean for fitness folk? Increased performance,
less muscle tiredness, and more warmth." Sports
Edge Magazine also featured an article on Holofiber,
which noted that "Recent research studies have legitimized
Holofiber’s claims, brought orders from Wickers, a private
label manufacturer, and led Duofold to plan the release of Holofiber
products next year."
Rennie’s Sports Letter, North America’s
most widely read sports-trade publication, featured a front-page
article on Holofiber, "Technical Fibre Boosts Oxygen Levels."
Several financial outlets, including CBS Marketwatch,
CNNMoney, Lycos Finance and
Yahoo! Finance, have also recently reported
on Holofiber.
