Designs Launches Holofiber Line
Sierra Designs, a leader in innovative technical outdoor
equipment and clothing, has developed a new line of men’s
and women’s tops featuring Holofiber®. The company,
which boasts a 40-year history of design and technical innovation,
has designed what it calls “the ultimate technical top
for fastpacking and high-adrenaline activity” –
the men’s Stamina short sleeve and long sleeve top and
the women’s Profusion short sleeve and long sleeve top.
 “Our
goal is to improve the performance of outdoor athletes,”
noted Mark J. Herbert, President, Sierra Designs/Ultimate
Direction. “The Holofiber fabric provides a unique advantage
since it is proven to create noticeable performance advantages.”
The anatomical design of the Stamina and Profusion tops utilizes
Holofiber fabric to enhance oxygen delivery, thereby increasing
energy, recovery, stamina and endurance. Friction Free fabric
in pack harness touch-points reduces friction to cool and
protect the body. In addition, forward-placed, “back-pack-friendly”
seams ensure comfort when wearing a backpack.
