Holofiber
Building Buzz – And Signing Customers – At Trade
Shows
Holofiber® has been making the trade show rounds
over the past year, with appearances in a variety of major
markets and increasingly strong results. At January’s
Outdoor Retailer Winter Market show in Salt Lake City, Holofiber
added some immediate new customers and saw significant interest
in the product from prospective customers. “The outdoor
market is where Holofiber got its start,” noted Robert
Klein, chairman of Holofiber, Inc. “We’re excited
about the caliber of companies coming aboard with us in this
market. We are choosing our partners carefully, and they are
the cream of the crop. There really is no telling how far
we can go with this unique and extraordinary product.”

A new trade show for Holofiber is Medtrade, the largest international
trade show dedicated to the home healthcare industry, attracting
distributors and retailers of medical equipment and caregiver
service companies from around the world. At the Medtrade Spring
2004 show in Las Vegas last April, Holofiber shared space
with its customer ACHIEVE O2, which introduced the Retail
Partner Program, designed for small-to-medium retailers carrying
the MedCrew Comfort Sock with HolofiberMax. Companies from
all over the world will attend the October Medtrade in Orlando
and it is ACHIEVE O2’s prime opportunity to get things
going globally – and Holofiber will be there to help
things along. “The ACHIEVE O2 Holofiber collection will
help the retailer offer profitable, quality products with
innovative features and technology,” observed William
Craig, company president.
In November of 2003, Holofiber was introduced to the diabetic
community at the New York City American Diabetes Association
(ADA) Diabetes Expo at the Javits Center and made definite
inroads into the diabetic community. This past March in Boston,
Holofiber customer Draper Knitting took part in the Boston
ADA Diabetes Expo, where the company debuted its HoloMedic™
line featuring Holofiber. Draper featured socks from ACHIEVE
O2, as well as its HoloMedic Home Health Squares and HoloMedic
Travel Health Squares, squares of Holofiber fabric designed
to provide the benefits of Holofiber wherever and whenever
one may need them.
Draper kicked off this event with The Great Sock Trade-In,
where people were asked to come in, take off their own socks
and wear a pair of Holofiber socks. They were invited back
to give their feedback, which resulted
in many afternoon sock sales. See the growing line of HoloMedic
products featuring Holofiber at the online Draper Mall at

“We are very excited about the possibilities in the
diabetic market. We received excellent feedback at the Boston
Diabetic Show as well as the initial orders from the Draper
Mall,” said Kristin Draper, Vice President, Draper Knitting.
Tempo Shain, a leading supplier to footwear manufacturers,
attended the World Shoe Association Show (WSA) in February,
and Holofiber was there. At the August 2004 WSA show, over
20,000 attendees from 100-plus countries and more than 1,500
international exhibitors from over 20 countries convene in
Las Vegas to see the latest in footwear fashion, technology
and performance. “This is a great show for us,”
said Robin Delaney, president of Tempo Shain. “We get
to see a many people we might not see during the year, especially
the customers from around the world.
We have sold a lot of Holofiber at the WSA Show.”
As Holofiber grows and expands its position in diverse end-use
markets, expect to see us at more shows in a range of markets.
